Invite your parents
Everything here is in Invite parents, on the right of your team page.
Finish the training first. A parent who has the link can open the checklist straight away.
Three ways in
All three point at the same team.
- Email. Paste addresses into the box, one per line, up to 100 at a time. Each parent gets one email with their own link.
- The link. Tap Copy and paste it into your parents' group chat. Anyone who opens it joins as a parent judge.
- A QR code. Below the link, for a handout or a slide at a parents' meeting.
There is no text message option. Give each parent one way in — a parent who was emailed but joined on the group-chat link shows up twice on your dashboard, once as their address and once as Joined by link.
Send the emails
- Paste the addresses, one per line.
- Tap Send invites.
- Read the report underneath.
The report names every line back to you:

| Unsubscribed from DebateFlow email | We cannot email them. Send them the link yourself. |
| Email did not go out | Try again, or send them the link yourself. |
| Could not read | Fix those lines and send again. A phone number is the usual one. |
| N repeated lines ignored | Nothing. |
If any line could not be read, your box is left as you typed it, so you are not retyping four addresses because of a typo in the fifth.
The three statuses
Each address in the list carries one:
- Sent — the email went out.
- Opened — they opened their link.
- Joined — they are on your team and their checklist is live.
Resend N invites appears when anyone is still at Sent, and resends only those. A parent who already opened theirs is not emailed again.
If a parent loses their link
Tap Copy and send them the team link. It takes them to the same checklist, and opening it twice does not add them twice.
What you cannot do yet
You cannot remove a parent, or turn a link off, from this page. Contact us and we will do it.
What a parent sees
The email says who it is from, what it is, and one button: Open my checklist. It asks them to sign in first, then adds them to your team and drops them on their checklist.
No experience needed, and no account beforehand — signing in makes one.
